Gautam Buddha University signs MOU with Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. (TCIL) in the area of Cyber Securities.

Greater Noida: Gautam Buddha University has entered into a joint agreement with Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. to promote Cyber Security. On 18 May, the agreement was signed between the representatives of Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. and the officials of Gautam Buddha University. In this MoU, GBU and TCIL will start the following, Curriculum Design for M.Tech. Cyber Security, Industrial Training & Visits, Research and Development activities, Skill Development Programs, Faculty Development Programs for student & staff and help in setting up Operational & Scientific Labs in the areas of Cyber Security, Computer Engineering Labs and Electronics & Communications Labs. This MoU will make its Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Gautam Buddha University which is available for research work to students and staff of Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. and will reserve the right to stop it at any time. The agreement aims to bridge the vocational skills gap arising among the student community and provide employment opportunities in the field of Cyber Security. According to this agreement, students have to be trained on soft skills so that they can develop the capability of industrial work in a complete way. Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. will provide academic guidance to students, research on Cyber Security, online and offline training programs, study modules, assisting researchers in research work, company visits and all possible help in their placements. The most important area of this MoU is to move forward for establishing a Cyber Range and Security Operation Centre model in nearby future which will help the Law Enforcement Agencies of Uttar Pradesh to get trained in the core area of Cyber Security. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Bhagwati Prakash Sharma, Registrar Sh. S. N. Tiwari, Dean Academics Prof. Shweta Anand, Dean of School of ICT Prof. Sanjay Kumar Sharma, Head of Department of Computer Science, Dr. Pradeep Tomar, and Cyber Security Advisor, Dr. Nisha Kant Ojha of Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL) who is also an International Expert in Counter Terrorism was also present on this occasion. It is understood that Dr Ojha the Advisor (TCIL) had been working hard enough to fill the Gap between the Academia & Government Institution in the area of Cyber Securities so that an effective & preventive echo system can be stablished within the countries.
