UDBHAV Orientation Program addressed Dr. Shankar Goenka, at Lloyd Institute of Engineering & Technology Campus

Greater Noida: Lloyd Institute of Engineering and Technology, an institute of excellence, inspiring value-based education, research and development, recently conducted UDBHAV-Engineering Orientation Program 2021-22 for its B. Tech. and Diploma entrants. The event started with customary lamp lightening followed by welcome address by Dr. Jyotsna Singh, Director, Lloyd Institute of Engineering & Technology.
Mr. Manohar Thairani, President & Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Lloyd Group of Institutions welcomed the Chief Guest of the program Dr. Shankar Goenka, Chief Architect and Managing Director, Wow Factor India Pvt. Ltd & the Guest of Honor Mr. Ajay Malik, Associate Director, Industry Business Development, IBM India Pvt. Ltd. The Program started with the words of wisdom and vision from Dr. Vandana Arora focusing on the importance of industry knowledge along with observing their practical aspects. She said, “The hunger of knowledge must be inculcated in each of the students being an engineer.” She strongly emphasized on the principles that she gain over her successful career which included 5C’s i.e., competency, courage, confidence, communication & compass in life. They were briefed upon the multi-dimensional aspects of each principle both on the academic as well as industrial interest. The latter also received the comprehension of being an avid reader.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shankar Goenka, quoted, “Life is all about creating your own planning. One should get into the habit of mentorship & determination. One should never let go any idea that comes into their mind, they should have courage to strongly act on it without any delay.” He also pointed out that whatever one does in their life they should do it with their full potential and zeal.
Mr. Ajay Malik, talked on the foundation for a bright future: Quality, Education & Exposure. He highlighted the Life Skills-Essential for Success keys i.e., thinking out of the box, effective communication, empowerment, collaborate, decision making & empathy. He reiterated the need of presenting one’s skill an effective communication to others besides having incredible knowledge.
The Engineering Orientation Program 2021-22 was attended by large number of students from various B. Tech. & Diploma courses in fields such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering.
