Greater Noida: One-week online webinar series on “Career Opportunities for Engineering Students” in Gbu. Last day Eminent speakers from industries shared their knowledge with students and motivated them for their upcoming career. On the First day, Mr. Purav Bhatt, Head, Strategy and Business Development from Siemens Ltd. Gurugram has motivated students for developing strong networking skills. He explained how professional networking can help them to find their dream job and also can help them to get internship assistance in reputed companies. On the Second day, Mr. Sidhyant Manu, CEO, Greenengg Technologies, interacted with students and shared his experience about Solar power Industry. He told to students that how Solar power Industry is the most emerging field for engineers with ample of opportunities in this field. He informed students about Government schemes, which they can take advantage for startup their own company as well as about top Indian players in the field of solar panel manufacturing. On the Third day, Mr. Deepak Shrama, Sr. Automation Engineer, Prolific Systems and Technologies Pvt Ltd. introduced students with current trends of Automation in industries. He explained the role of PLC and SCADA in controlling the industrial operation. He explained how Robotics and Automation become the need of present time. It helped workers in their better efficiency and saving their lives from hazardous environment. The Fourth day was started with Dr. Mahipal Reddy Mandadi, Sr. Manager-Strategic Marketing, ACE Engineering Academy, Hyderabad motivational lecture. This was a wonderful session. He gave students various tips and advice for cracking various competitive examinations like Gate and IES technical and other non-technical examinations in their first attempt. He told that the students should think about their career and placement before their completion of B.Tech. They should have firm determination, strategy, and a plan of action for their success.
On the Fifth day of this webinar, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Arora, Manager-Technical, Delhi Transco Limited, a government of NCT of Delhi undertaking was the speaker. This was the most informative and motivating session. Speaker gave an overview of the Indian power sector and power generation regions. One nation, one frequency, and one grid concept were being explained. The contribution of different power sources in India is explained very well. The overview of the Electricity Regulatory Act 2003 and its benefits are explained by the speaker. Safety is by the proper earthing is also explained by him. The session was very interactive, students asked their doubts, and speaker reply their doubts very well.
This event was a grand success. Many students get motivated from this webinar series for their better future.
