Greater Noida: Grads International School, Eta 2, Greater Noida, in collaboration with Kshema Path Trust and Vikas Vishranti distributed 300 ration kit packets containing 2 kg rice, 3 kg ata, 1 kg dal, 1 kg Mustard oil and 1 kg sugar to COVID affected jobless labourers families at Surajpur colony, Delta 1, Gamma 1, Aicher and Thapkhera village.
The founder of Kshema Path Trust, Sh. Apoorva Lochan believes that philanthropy is a parameter of happiness and prosperity and vis-a-vis. He has been collaborating with schools to reach out to the genuine Covid affected recipients for the past one year. Apna School is an initiative of Vikas Vishranti Trust founded by philanthropist Advocate R. K. Usha. Her team has been teaching and empowering street children and labourers children at 4 centres of Greater Noida since 2011. These children are worst affected by Covid as their parents have no work and they have no school to feed them regularly. Vikas Vishranti is trying its best to support these families.
Therefore Grads International School under the leadership of its Principal Mrs. Aditi Basu Roy took the initiative to liaison with the NGOs to serve these helpless families. Under the school’s ‘Saath Saath Nation Building’ programme, the school serves the country and her people in every possible way since its establishment. Along with its high academic standards based on the National Education Policy, Grads International collaborates with all stakeholders for knowledge sharing and training, health and well-being care, awareness programmes, nature care and other philanthropic activities to attain United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and World Peace, upholding the culture and values of our country. In this program Principal Mrs. Aditi Basu Roy made people aware of the importance of wearing masks and showed them the right way to wear masks.
In this donation drive Principal of Grads International School Mrs. Aditi Basu Roy, Vice Principal Mrs. Malaya Paul, Coordinator Mrs. Archana Gajbhiye, Admin officer Mr. Hameed, Account Miss Anju Thakur, Mr. Atul Kumar, Mrs. Veena , Mrs. Urvashi Singh, teachers of Apna school Veena, Zeba, Bina, Sneha, Soniya, Seema and some young volunteers Prachi, Sachin, Shubham and Arjun from Thapkhera village participated actively.
