Greater Noida:Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, I.T.S. Engineering College organized a Webinar on “CAREER AFTER ENGINEERING”. The guest was facilitated by the Dr. Monika Jain, HOD-ECE. This webinar was very informative and interactive that the students were able to know about the company actual expectation from students and how student can prepared themselves for higher studies. The lecture was even more interesting with the examples he gave relating to each topic. It was wonderful Knowledge sharing and gaining webinar regarding the career after engineering. Mr. Ritesh Jain interacted with the students and following key points were addressed
- Importance of Time and how to effectively manage Time.(Specially during this COVID-19 lockdown period)
- Find out your unique signature strength.
- Check about present world scenario for career.
- Match your strength and decide that whether you want to go with entrepreneurship or Government job or corporate job.
- Final year students can go for higher studies( Either management side(MBA) or engineering side)
- For engineering side students can go for GRE or GATE
- For MBA side students can prepare for CAT and GMAT.
- Respect towards Ones Profession.
- Minimum criteria required for entrance exam of CAT.
- Improve your communication skill
- If student want to join PSU job and IES than GATE is required.
This session was full of tips to make optimal use of mind power and inner potential. Mr. Jain has taken each and every question from all of students and teachers in a very systematic manner and in all various options are covered in a concrete manner in his talk. Even, the teachers were enlightened by this enlightening talk. Teachers and professors was also benefitted as they may extract the best out of students by applying these tips in their teaching and classrooms. Webinar was being closed by vote of thanks by coordinator to speaker and all participants for valuable time.
Program Outcome: Students gained information about diversified career paths and options of higher education in India & in abroad after engineering.
