Greater Noida:India first Prime minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru which falls on 14th November Children day was celebrated with pomp and show at Ryan International School, Greater Noida. Special programme was conducted for the students of all the wings separately, wherein teachers put up a lively programme. The voice message sent by our honourable Chairman Sir was played which boosted up the morale and confidence of all the students. The school conducted different special assemblies for Montessori, Primary, Middle and Senior wing. Each assembly was conducted by the teachers where they presented praise & worship songs followed by various fun filled games as per the age. The day commemorated with immense joy , enthusiasm and magnificence.This was followed by variety of fun filled activities and games planned by the teachers for their children. Medley of songs were presented by the teachers which enthused the students with Joy and Happiness .The teachers made Children’s Day special for their children through a rock band performance and by involving them into various fun-filled games- Montessori students played various games like musical chair, paper sticking and enjoyed dancing along with teachers dressed up as Disney Characters. Students of Classes I&II Participated in fun games like musical Chairs. Students of Classes III-V participated in different games like science is fun game, strike the pyramid, dress up like a Ryan prince and princess ,Name Bingo,fun Acronyms, unscramble puzzles. The students also participated in various Interhouse sports activities like football, Carom and Skating . The Students of Classes III-V also watched a movie -Tom and Jerry and Funny Moments in Madagascar movie which made their day more special .
Students of Classes VI-VIII participated in fun games like Ribbon walk, head shoulder hanky, grab the stick, Balloon Inflating, Tying the knot, Dancing Chinese Whisper, Picking up of gems using Straw, Passing of tennis ball on water and activities which were organised for the students brought a smile on their lovely faces. Students of each house also presented a scintillating orchestra.
The day was wrapped up by the display of Science projects and models which was presented beautifully by the middle and senior wing students. The day came to an end with many exciting sports competitions like Badminton, Football, Volleyball, chess, carom. It was a thrilling and exciting moment for the students as they enjoyed cake and chocolates distributed to them. Showering the little ones with voluminous love and heaps of blessings, all teachers encouraged the leaders of tomorrow to enjoy their childhood with the greatest essence of happiness and made their day indeed a special one.
The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.All the events of the day brought beautiful smiles on everyone’s face. The school head Ms Sudha Singh encouraged and motivated the students to climb up the ladder of success and to showcase their best always.
